Easy to install​

Get set up

Download the latest version of the Garmin Connect Mobile app onto your iOS or Android™ mobile. Make sure your eligible smartwatch is connected to the app. 1

Add cards

Go to ‘Create Your Wallet’ to add your payment card details. You may be asked to set a four-digit PIN for your wearable. You can add up to 10 cards to your Garmin wallet.

Start paying

Hold the action button on your watch, then tap the wallet icon (you may need to enter your four-digit passcode). Hold your smartwatch to the card reader to pay.

Manage your wallet

You can view detailed information about each of your payment card and add, suspend and delete payment cards in the Garmin Pay wallet on your phone.

You won’t be able to view transactions made with a Mastercard® on your Garmin wallet. You can view all your transactions in Bankwest Online Banking or the Bankwest App. The transactions displayed in online or mobile banking will not be differentiated as Garmin Pay transactions.

Which cards are eligible for Garmin Pay?

All Bankwest Debit Mastercard and Mastercard credit cards – including personal or business cards – are eligible. The card must be active and the funds must be accessible, so there cannot be a hold or a temporary lock on the card.

Is there a purchase limit?

There is no purchase limit with Garmin Pay. Transactions over the contactless payment threshold will require your card PIN at the merchant terminal. Other standard card limits apply the same as with your physical card.

Can I use Garmin Pay overseas?

Yes, Garmin Pay is available anywhere contactless payments (through Near Field Communication) are accepted. We recommend you take your physical card as a backup when travelling overseas, just in case you can't find a contactless terminal.

Make sure you add your card while in Australia – for security reasons, you won’t be able to register a new card to Garmin Pay while overseas.

How do I remove a card from Garmin Pay?

In the Garmin Connect Mobile app, tap 'Settings' > 'Garmin Pay' > 'Manage Your Wallet'.
Choose the card you want to remove and tap 'Delete'.

What if my device is lost or stolen?

If you lose your device, you can remove or suspend the cards you added to Garmin Pay in the Garmin Connect Mobile app.
