Notice to Bankwest Credit Card Customers

Changes to the Bankwest credit card schedule

Effective 1 October 2026, the minimum credit limit stated under heading “Credit Limit” in the Financial Table of the Credit Card Schedule will be amended as follows (as applicable):

Changes to the Bankwest More Rewards terms and conditions date 28 November 2024

Effective 1 October 2026, the Bankwest More Rewards Conditions of Use dated 28 November 2024 are amended as follows:

Section 1 Overview -

The table in Section 1, “Overview of Bankwest More Rewards” as follows, is deleted:

Subject to clause 6, if you hold a Bankwest More Mastercard (“Classic”), Bankwest More Platinum Mastercard or Bankwest More World Mastercard Credit Card you will earn Points on Eligible Purchases as follows:

Section 6.1 Points -

The following paragraphs in Section 6.1 Points, is deleted:“ A full list of Rewards and the number of Points required to claim each Reward is available on the website.

If you are a Classic Card holder, you will earn 1.5 Points for every Australian dollar (AUD$1.00) of Eligible Purchases

If you are a Platinum Card holder, you will earn 2 Points for every Australian dollar (AUD$1.00) of Eligible Purchases

If you are a World Card holder, you will earn 2.5 Points for every Australian dollar (AUD$1.00) of Eligible Purchases

The total Points (including any Bonus Points) that can be earned in Each Year are:

  • 150,000 Points if your Card is a Classic Card
  • 400,000 Points if your Card is a Platinum Card
  • unlimited Points if your Card is a World Card.

This is known as your Points Cap. Once you reach your Points Cap, you cannot earn any further Points and any Points earned in excess of these amounts will be cancelled."

and replaced with:

You will, subject to this clause 6, earn Points for Eligible Purchases. The rate of accrual of the Points is set by Bankwest in its absolute discretion and is subject to change from time to time. Any such changes will be notified to you in accordance with clause 10 of these Terms and Conditions.

Section 6.2 Annual Bonus Points - Delete the dot point “will contribute to the Points Cap for the Year in which the Annual Bonus Points are credited.”.

Section 6.3 What are the rewards? - Delete “clause 6.7” and replace with “clause 6.8”.

Section 7 When you will not earn Points and when we may cancel your Points - Add the following paragraph “You are not eligible for any Bonus More Points on a new Card Account as part of an introductory special offer or promotion if you have held another Bankwest credit card participating in the Bankwest More Rewards program in the previous 24 months or if you upgrade or vary another Bankwest credit card to a new Card participating in the Bankwest More Rewards program, unless the special offer or promotion terms and conditions provide otherwise.” after the sentence “Bonus Partners may exit Bankwest More Rewards without prior notification and Bonus Points will not be allocated from the exit date.”.

Section 10 Changes to these Terms and Conditions - In the fourth paragraph insert “or” after “mail to your nominated address” and insert a new dot point on the next line “statement message in your account statement.”.

Changes to the Bankwest Qantas Rewards terms and conditions dated 6 June 2025

Effective 1 October 2026, the Bankwest Qantas Rewards Conditions of Use dated 6 June 2025 are amended as follows:

Section 1 Overview -

The first row of the table in Section 1, “Overview” as follows, is deleted

Section 6 Bankwest Qantas Rewards -

Section 7, When you will not earn Qantas Points and when we may cancel your Qantas Points - In the last paragraph replace the word “opened” with “held”.

Section 10, Changes to these Terms and Conditions and Bankwest Qantas Rewards In the fourth paragraph insert “or” after “mail to your nominated address” and insert a new dot point on the next line “statement message in your account statement.”.

Throughout the Terms and Conditions - Each reference to “your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account” in the Terms and Conditions is deleted and replaced with “the Nominated Qantas Frequent Flyer Account”.
