Upcoming changes to earning Qantas Points

From 1 November 2021 any balances over $50,000 will no longer earn Qantas Points. You can still earn 0.3 Qantas Points per $100 each day for any balance under this cap.

Points earned on each eligible purchase and from an overseas ATM cash withdrawal remains unchanged.

However, complimentary membership is available from Bankwest if you join at qantas.com/joinffbankwest. Membership and the earning and redemption of points are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Qantas Points are earned on eligible purchases only and in accordance with and subject to the Bankwest Qantas Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (PDF).
  2. The Bankwest Halo payment ring is only available to Australian citizens and Permanent or Temporary Residents over 16 years of age with an Australian residential address. Fees and charges apply.
  3. Effective 28 September 2021 the Bankwest Halo payment device is withdrawn from sale. Customers who already hold a Bankwest Halo payment device can continue using it until the expiry of the device, however, from 1 December 2021 the Bank will no longer reissue or replace any existing Bankwest Halo payment device.
  4. The overseas bank may charge a fee for using their ATM. Other fees and charges, including foreign transaction fees, may apply.
