Refinance your home loan to Bankwest

Thinking about switching home loans?

We know that switching home loans can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to guide you through. If you want a lower interest rate, more flexibility in the structure of your home loan, to consolidate debt, or use the equity in your home to renovate or invest, refinancing might be for you.

Types of home loans

Which one is best?

Variable, fixed, interest only – familiarise yourself with the different home loan types and how they might work for your financial situation.

What happens at the end of my fixed rate period?

If you have a fixed home loan with us, it'll automatically revert to our standard variable rate at the end of the fixed rate period, minus the discount outlined in your home loan contract. However, you don't need to roll to the variable rate if you don't want to – chat to us in the app or online banking, or check out your options below:

  • Roll to a variable rate
  • Re-fix your home loan
  • Split your loan.

Is it time for a home loan health check?

What you need from your mortgage can change over time, which is why it’s important to review it. If you’re an existing customer, touch base with us in the app and we can help you with your review. Alternatively, chat to a Home Lending Specialist or your broker to make sure you’ve still got the right home loan and you’re making the most of it.
