Set up Fingerprint Login

Fingerprint Login makes securely logging in to our app even easier. Once you’ve set up your PIN login, it’s easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Login using your PIN
  2. Select ‘Fingerprint Login’ in settings
  3. Accept the Terms of Use.

Learn about SMS code

SMS code is just one of the ways we keep your accounts secure. Think of it as a second layer of protection. To set it up, just go to ‘My details & security’ in online banking and click ‘Activate SMS code’. Find out more.


Easily find out who’s really charged you

If you’re wondering where a transaction on your account came from, you can put your mind at ease by clicking on the transaction in the Bankwest App. This will give you the option to view more detailed info about the business that charged you. See how it works.


Disputing suspicious transactions

If you’ve noticed a transaction that wasn’t you, you can temporarily lock your card in the app or online banking to keep it safe. You can then give us a call on 13 17 19 or send us a message – just click ‘Ask us’ in the app. We’ll ask you to fill out a Transaction Dispute Form (PDF) and help you cancel your card.
