Can I add someone else to my account?

You can give someone else access to your transaction or savings account by adding them as a signatory. This means they can generally do everything an account owner can do except close the account.

Please visit your nearest Bankwest branch so we can help you. If the new signatory isn’t already a Bankwest customer, they’ll need to bring photo ID. See a handy list of ID documents we’ll accept.

Can I add an additional cardholder on my credit card?

Yes, you can. You’ll just need to fill out a form – see how it works.

Want to turn it into a joint account instead?

With a joint account, both of you have full access and the ability to close the account. To set one up, you’ll need to close the sole account and open a new joint account.

How about removing someone from my account?

To remove a signatory or third party, visit your nearest Bankwest branch or call 13 17 19. Signatories can be removed on the spot without the need for a form.

As for joint accounts, you’ll need to close down the account and open your own individual accounts.
