If you need to make transactions overseas but you haven't alerted us, don't stress. Here's what you need to know.
If you've enabled global roaming
If you've headed overseas with your mobile phone and have global roaming enabled, you can still receive SMS codes as normal.
If you can't access SMS code
If you’ve left your mobile phone in Australia or can't receive SMS codes overseas, you'll need to call us once you're prompted for an SMS code to complete your transaction.
Remember, you'll only be prompted to enter an SMS code for certain transactions.
TIP: If you know in advance who you'll need to pay while you're away, schedule all your payments in Bankwest Online Banking before you leave. If you register for PIN, Fingerprint Login or Face ID before you leave, you can continue to use the app while you're overseas.
