Frequently asked questions

Info at your fingertips

How do I activate a digital card?

That’s one of the benefits of having a digital card – you don’t need to activate it.

Log in to the Bankwest App the next business day and tap on the ‘Cards’ tab to view your card details.

Is a digital wallet different to a digital card?

They’re a little different. A digital card is a read-only view of your card number, expiry and CVC to help you make payments online. Alternately, if you've linked your card to a digital wallet (like Apple Pay, Google Pay™ or Samsung Pay), you can make payments on the go.

How can I use my digital card details?

You can use your digital card details to set up regular payments and to shop online.

Can any Bankwest card be used as a digital card?

If you see a Mastercard logo on your card, you can use a digital version of your card.

Digital cards aren’t available for Bankwest EFTPOS cards.
