Our partnership with Australia Post means you can easily get an account balance, pay into your account and get cash out at your local participating Post Office. 1 Bank@Post is an agency service provided by Australia Post on behalf of Bankwest. Bank@Post is available at participating Post Offices. Services available are cash withdrawals, deposits, balance enquiries and credit card repayments. Limits apply.

Deposit or withdraw cash

Keep in mind, the following limits apply:

  • You can withdraw cash at Bank@Post, Australian and overseas ATMs and EFTPOS terminals up to a combined amount of $2,000 per day 2 Overseas and local non-bank ATM operators may charge a fee. Other fees and charges may apply.​
  • You can deposit cash at Bank@Post and select CommBank ATMs up to a combined amount of $8,000 per day. 3 Loose coin accepted up to $20 otherwise coin must be in coin bags by denomination.

Deposit Australian cheques

Deposit up to $100,000 per day, selecting the cheque or savings option from your card. You can deposit up to 99 cheques per transaction. Allow up to seven days for cheque deposits to be cleared.

Business customers

Business customers can also make a deposit using a barcoded deposit slip. Deposits made using a barcoded deposit slip are available the next business day.

Keep in mind

You’re unable to withdraw money with a Bankwest credit card account at Bank@Post.

Smart ATMs

You can make a deposit at any Smart Bankwest or CommBank ATM.

You can deposit cash (up to $8,000) and cheques (up to 50) into your eligible account.
