What do I do if I’ve forgotten my secure code?

The first thing you need to know is that a ‘secure code’ is just fancy bank language for a password.

Don’t worry if it’s slipped your mind – you can quickly reset it online or in our Bankwest App (select ‘Help’ from the login screen and follow the prompts).

You’ll need:

  • Your Personal Access Number (PAN)
  • Your debit or credit card number
  • Your card PIN 
  • The mobile phone that you registered for SMS code (before we can change your secure code, we’ll need to send you an SMS).

Not registered for SMS code? Call us on 1300 440 749 and we’ll issue a temporary code over the phone.
