Getting started is easy. Once your account is set up, just give us a call and one of our team will register you for both phone and online banking. It’s as easy as that!

BOB is your anytime, anywhere banker

Bankwest Online Banking (BOB) is an easy-to-use and secure way to access your account - any time of the day or night. You can log on from the comfort of your home or office, from your mobile device or anywhere you can get online.

What do I need to get started?

Logging in to BOB is simple - all you need is a personal access number (PAN) and secure code (online banking password) to get started.

If you're new to Bankwest and provided an email address and Australian mobile number as part of your application, then your log in details will arrive in record time:

  • check your inbox for your PAN and your mobile phone for an SMS containing your secure code
  • otherwise, these details are in the post on their way to you now and will arrive separately within 5 business days
  • Where can I find my PAN?

    Your PAN can be found on the letter or email we sent you after you opened your account, plus on your paper statements or eStatements and at the bottom of the settings menu in the Bankwest App.


    If you can’t locate your PAN, don’t worry. Just call us on 1300 440 749 and we'll email these details to your inbox or send them in the mail. If you pop in to your local Bankwest store we can issue your PAN on the spot.

  • What if I’ve forgotten my secure code?

    If you’re registered for SMS code you can quickly reset your secure code online. You’ll find the link to the forgotten secure code tool on the online banking login page.

    Simply follow the on screen prompts and have the following things ready:

    1. your personal access number (PAN)
    2. the mobile phone that you registered for SMS Code
    3. answers to your secret questions

    Not registered for SMS Code? Call us on 1300 440 749 and we’ll issue a temporary secure code on the spot.

Phone banking - it’s easy to get comfortable with it

Phone banking is our automated phone service, accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world. It is provided free of charge, with the exception of using the BPay service where fees are applicable.

Accessing phone banking couldn't be easier. Dial 13 17 18 and select option 1. You may key ahead at anytime.

By entering your PAN and phone banking PIN and by following our clear and concise prompts you can:

  • check your account balance, account details and most recent transactions
  • transfer funds between your accounts
  • pay your credit card
  • access the BPAY system: pay bills, change future dated bills
  • order a statement, cheque book, interest statement and account schedule

And all at the touch of a button. Simple things make people happy!
