The Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund (LMDRF) has been launched to assist those affected by the Wooroloo and Hills bushfires, following the announcement from the State Government of WA.
LMDRF was established to provide alleviation and relief of distress, suffering, hardship, and misfortune to individuals, as determined by the WA Government and/or Board of the Fund.
The CBA Group, including Bankwest, has donated $50,000 to the appeal. It sends its thoughts to all those affected and extends its thanks to the emergency services who work tirelessly to protect the community.
As of Saturday 6 February 2021, Bankwest branches are able to accept LMDRF donations in-branch due to the lifting of lockdown provisions.
