Two Western Australian icons are joining forces as Bankwest announces a new sponsorship deal with the Western Force rugby team.
Commenting on the partnership, Bankwest Managing Director Rowan Munchenberg said: 'Bankwest is strengthening its commitment to Western Australia and we have a long and proud history of supporting the prosperity of our customers and the WA community.

Bankwest’s support of the Western Force, playing in the new World Series rugby competition, also incorporates support of its new grassroots RugbyRoos junior development program.
Western Force commercial manager Brad Paatsch said Bankwest was the perfect partner for the newly found Force, having previously been a supporter and being such an iconic WA brand.

The Bankwest new support of rugby union in Western Australia also includes support of the new RugbyRoos program which will will provide a fun environment for boys and girls aged 4 to 12 to develop core skills they will use for life – from kicking, throwing and catching to balance, team work and following instructions.
The initiative has a firm focus on inclusivity and will offer courses that tailor to different age groups and skill levels.
The program will be rolled out to around 20,000 school children this year with the help of RugbyWA development officers and elite rugby players to assist with the aim of linking RugbyRoos participants with local rugby clubs.
