Research into issues that matter

We support research into key issues affecting Australian families, communities and businesses.

Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre (BCEC)

Established with the support of Bankwest, this independent organisation produces high quality, accessible research that aims to influence economic and social policy debates nationwide – policies that affect Australian families, businesses and communities.

BCEC capitalises on Curtin University’s reputation for excellence in economic modelling, forecasting, public policy research, trade and industrial economics, and spatial sciences. Researchers at BCEC specialise in economic forecasting, quantitative modelling, and economic and social policy evaluation.

Outcomes from the research help policy makers and commentators better understand economic challenges and key social issues affecting the wellbeing of Australians.
