About the program

Risk is a trusted partner to all areas of the business. You’ll spend your days providing assurance and advice, conducting reviews, and being challenged.

From credit to conduct risk, operational to compliance risk, a Risk Management Graduate gets exposure to it all.

Most importantly, you’ll be here to help us achieve our commitment to continually improve Bankwest’s management of risk, enabling sustainable customer and business outcomes.

Program structure

Our two-year program includes four rotations in some of these areas:

  • Business Credit
  • Compliance
  • Conduct Risk
  • Credit Strategy and Assurance
  • Operational Risk
  • Risk Analytics and Reporting
  • Risk Strategy and Governance.

This program is best suited to people with degrees in Accounting, Actuarial Science/Statistics, Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Law or Mathematics.

Eligibility criteria

You must:

  • have an Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency at the time you submit your application
  • have a grade point average of 65% or over
  • be in the final year of a university undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed your studies in the last 12 months (our technology program also accepts TAFE qualifications).
