Payment issue update

Following the outage which has impacted our systems in recent days, we've made significant progress in processing the outstanding payments to affected customers. These funds should now be in customer accounts.

Bankwest is refunding fees and charges associated with the outage and the payments delay for those affected customers.

We have also made a payment into the accounts of customers who were unable to access their funds over the weekend due to the delay in payments, and this credit is in addition to the reversal of fees or charges mentioned above.

Bankwest customers are reminded we will never contact them to obtain their account details in order to process a payment. If a customer is approached for their account details they should not provide this and should contact us immediately.

Customers with any issues or questions regarding their payments or the outage can contact us through our 24/7, in-app messaging and contact centre teams or can visit their local branch.

We apologise to everyone who has been affected by the delay in payments and we're very sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.
