Download account balance and transaction details

Get a proof of balance or transaction summary for your account quickly and easily in the Bankwest App.

The what and the why

A proof of balance or transaction summary can come in handy for things like government agency requests, loan applications or transaction disputes. Whether you’re confirming account info for a Centrelink application, preparing your tax return or gathering evidence of your savings for a home loan application, you can generate these in a few minutes in our app and download them as a PDF.

Proof of balance

This is a statement for transaction or savings accounts, generated on a Bankwest letterhead and showing the date your account was opened and your current balance at the time you request it. You might need a proof of balance to verify your account for an application.

Transaction summary

Also called an interim statement, this is an up-to-date transaction history for your transaction or savings account. You don’t have to look through old statements or wait for a new quarterly one to be issued – generate one instantly for the time period you want (up to 90 days and within the past 12 months).

The how

You'll need to be registered for eStatements to generate a proof of balance or transaction summary. Once you are, you can:

  • Log in to the Bankwest App and tap 'More' on the bottom menu

  • Choose the account you want to generate the statement for
  • Under ‘Custom statements’, choose ‘Create transaction summary’ or ‘Download proof of balance
  • For transaction summaries, choose a summary date or enter a custom range
  • Download or share the PDF.
