Register for and view eStatements for eligible accounts

eStatements are electronic versions of your account statements that can be accessed through online banking and the Bankwest App. When you switch to eStatements you'll no longer receive paper statements in the post for your eligible accounts.

  • Avoid paper statement fees. A $1.25 paper statement fee now applies to personal Credit Cards and will be progressively rolled out to personal transaction and savings accounts from 13 February 2017 . Some exemptions may apply, call us to find out more.

How to register for eStatements

  1. Log into online banking with your Personal Account Number (PAN) and secure code or via the Bankwest App
  2. Select eStatements in the menu to manage your statement options
  3. Follow the onscreen prompts
  4. Confirm or update your email address

  • I have a deposit account, when will I be automatically switched to eStatements?

    Your next paper statement will include more information on eStatements and how to return to paper after you are automatically switched. Please be aware that should you elect to receive paper statements in the future a $1.25 fee may be payable per statement, however exemptions do apply.

  • I am a Deposits customer, can I cancel eStatements and revert back to paper statements?

    Your next paper statement will include more information on eStatements and how to return to paper after you are automatically switched. This will take place progressively from 13 February 2017 . Please be aware that should you elect to receive paper statements in the future a $1.25 fee may be payable per statement. Exemptions apply.

  • I am a Credit Card customer, can I cancel eStatements and revert back to paper statements?

    Yes, you can stop receiving eStatements and revert to paper statements at any time by updating your statement options within BOB or the Bankwest App. Alternatively, you can call us on 13 17 19 or visit your nearest Store. A $1.25 paper statement fee now applies to personal Credit Cards. Exemptions apply.

  • How much does it cost to have eStatements?

    There is no additional cost for eStatements.

  • How do I select which accounts receive eStatements?

    Simply log into online banking or the Bankwest App and select eStatements in the menu. You'll then see the list of your accounts that are eligible for eStatements.

    Choose the accounts you wish to register for eStatements by checking the relevant tick box, then select register. You will be taken to a confirmation screen so you can read the eStatement disclaimers and enter your email address to complete your registration.

  • How do I view and access my eStatements?

    Once you've registered for eStatements you can go to eStatements in the BOB menu to view your eStatements list screen.

    To view an eStatement locate and click on the account you‘re interested in. Click the date of the statement you would like to access and your eStatement will open as a PDF in a new window.

  • I like to be reminded each month when I have a payment due on my credit card, how will I know when it is due with an eStatement?

    Every time a new eStatement is available we will send you an email to your nominated email address letting you know it’s ready for you to view. You could also consider setting up a regular payment to transfer funds to your credit card each month to help you avoid missing the monthly payment.

    Avoid a late fee by receiving an alert before your minimum repayment is due. Learn more about Bankwest Easy Alerts.

  • When will my eStatement be available?

    Your eStatement will be available at the same time your normal statements are usually issued. You will receive an email notifying you when your latest eStatement is available.

    An alert will also come up on the account information screen when you log into online banking advising that your eStatements are available.

  • How long will my old eStatements be stored in online banking or the Bankwest App for?

    Your eStatements will be available through online banking or the Bankwest App for 5 years from the date of issue.

    To ensure your long-term records are in order however, we recommend that you save your eStatements to your computer after viewing them.

  • Are eStatements safe and secure?

    Absolutely! eStatements are a reliable and secure way of receiving statements. They are transmitted to your Internet browser using 128-bit encryption which means it is well protected.

  • Are all accounts eligible for eStatements?

    Not all accounts are eligible - the account has to be one that you can access through BOB, and you must be the owner or joint owner of the account. The following accounts are not eligible for eStatements:

    • All Bankwest Business Banking accounts, including corporate and commercial credit cards
    • Term Deposit accounts
    • Passbook account
    • BWA Cash Management Trust account
    • Accounts held in trust
    • Additional cardholder of a Credit Card account
    • Account signatory (except for Children's Savings Accounts/Kids' Bonus Savers)
    • Third party signatories
    • Beneficiaries
