Platinum Debit Mastercard® insurance changes

We’re making some minor changes to the insurance that comes with the Platinum Debit Mastercard.

What’s changing?

From 15 April 2020

There will be a couple of changes to some definitions, exclusions and cover limits.

We’re also making some updates to contact details and addresses you’ll need to make an insurance claim, plus our banking options (addition of the Bankwest App).

The specifics

From 15 April 2020

  • The definition of ‘personal goods’ in ‘Words with special meaning’ and their exclusions will be clarified
  • Exclusions to ‘personal goods’ in ‘Baggage and personal effects’ will be updated
  • Cover limit conditions will be updated.

The claim process will still be the same – you’ll just need to send any documents or emails to a different postal or email address.

The email address will be updated from claimsprocessing@covermore.com.au to bankwestclaims@covermore.com.au.

The postal address will be PO Box 2027 (it’s currently Private Bag 913).

Cover-More Privacy Officer

There won’t be any change to the way you make claims…
