[Tim:] I’ve been with Bankwest for 35 years now. All the way back probably when I was 8 or 9, at Trinity College, we used to do banking every Tuesday morning, in the library.
I started as a glassie at a CBD bar. I just loved hospitality. When I first walked down the cobblestone path at the Stables, I knew there was a pub here that would be popular.
The opportunity to tender for one of the bars down at Elizabeth Quay came up. We were successful in being chosen for it, and since then it’s been fantastic. The Reveley has got a fantastic view from Henry’s rooftop bar. Look back to the city, look up to Kings Park and across to South Perth.
Our next venture is the Camfield, right next to the new Perth Stadium.
Bankwest have been involved from day one. Having our relationship manager really close to us, and having pretty much 24/7 access to him is one of the major reasons I use the bank.
The times that you are not at work and you are socialising with your friends should be the best times of your life, so I just want people to have a good time in our venues.
[Voiceover:] Bankwest for business. Knowing your business, not just your banking.
