[Andrew:] A theme park is a very unique environment, they’re very complex businesses but at the end of the day they’re about people and for people, which is incredibly rewarding.
My names Andrew Sharry and I am the CEO at Adventure World.
One of the great things about Adventure World is because we’ve been in Western Australia for 36 years now the reality is every day we see parents bringing their children to Adventure World for their first visit and recounting their very first visits with their mums, their dads, their families, all those years ago and it’s really rewarding to be a part of that.
Adventure World’s working relationship with Bankwest extends beyond 20 years. One of the great things about Bankwest is their ability to listen and understand what we need, and then apply the solutions they've got available. A really good example has been our recent upgrade of our fleet of 52 merchant terminals, which ultimately means our guests are getting out of the queues and into the park quicker and more efficiently.
Being the CEO of Adventure World is absolutely not a mainstream CEO role and one of the most rewarding components of it is the fact that it is all about fun, and how can you not manage to have some fun when you’re around fun every day.
