If you’re brand new to Bankwest, welcome! If you are applying in store, you will need to bring the original or certified copy of your choice of the following:

one form of primary ID with a photo (i.e. passport or driver’s license) or |
|
|
one form of primary ID without a photo (i.e. birth certificate or Citizenship papers), plus one form of secondary ID (i.e. a power bill) |
If you are applying online, a Home Loan Specialist will respond within one business day help to finalise your application. To see what else you can use as ID documents, check out our simple guidelines.
Once you are conditionally approved for a home loan you may also need to provide us with:

|
your two latest original pay slips displaying your employer's name (must not be hand written) or last year's group certificate or tax return |
|
|
|
|
|
confirmation of other income or expenses (trust income, Centrelink benefits, Family Law Court agreements etc) |
|
|
details of your monthly expenses (e.g. utility bills, credit card statements, hire purchase agreements) |
|
|
details of any loans that are not with Bankwest |
|
|
if you are applying to refinance a loan that is currently with another bank, please provide the last 6 months’ statements for that loan |
|
|
if you have already signed a Contract of Sale please have this ready |
|
|
if you want a loan to build, please bring a copy of the signed building contract including plans and specifications |
|
|
if you want to borrow more than 90% of your property’s value, you will need genuine savings of at least 5% of the purchase price. |
|
|
also, let your employer know that Bankwest may contact them to confirm that you work there |
