get Credit Card Protection

Cover for your outstanding credit card balance

Not everyone is issued with a crystal ball at birth. But while you may not know what’s around the corner, you can still put in place measures to prevent those unforeseen circumstances.

Credit Card Protection Insurance from our partner St Andrew’s costs just 55 cents for every $100 you owe on your card. It can help ease the stress if life throws you a curve ball like an accident, illness or unemployment by paying 20% of your outstanding balance each month (up to a maximum of $4,000).

And best of all, if your closing balance is zero on your latest statement, you're not charged a thing.

Outstanding benefits

  • your premium is automatically calculated and deducted from your card each month
  • in the event of death or terminal illness, your outstanding balance is paid in full along with a Protect Plus payment equal to the same amount (up to a maximum of $50,000)
  • pays a lump sum payment of $200 to your credit card when you celebrate a Lifestyle Event such as getting married, having a child or purchasing a new home
