If you’re brand new to Bankwest, welcome! Once your application is approved, we’ll need to confirm who you are, so pop into your nearest Bankwest store with an original or certified copy of your choice of the following:

one form of primary ID with a photo (i.e. passport or driver’s license) or |

|
one form of primary ID without a photo (i.e. birth certificate or Citizenship papers), plus one form of secondary ID (i.e. a utility bill) |

Not near a Bankwest store? No worries! Print out our identification form (PDF, 341KB) and take it down to your local Australia Post Bank@Post outlet along with your ID.
Whether a new or an existing customer, you may also need to provide us with additional information, such as:

your two latest original pay slips displaying your employer's name (must not be hand written) or last year's group certificate or tax return |

|
|
|
|
confirmation of other income or expenses (trust income, Centrelink benefits, Family Law Court agreements etc) |
|
|
details of your monthly expenses (e.g. utility bills, credit card statements, hire purchase agreements) |
|
|
details of any loans you have that are not with Bankwest |
