Investor variable interest rates increased for home loan customers

Bankwest is increasing its standard variable rate for investors by 0.15% p.a. effective Friday, 16 December 2016.

The standard variable rate for investors will increase from 5.67% p.a. to 5.82% p.a.

Bankwest’s standard variable rate for owner occupiers remains unchanged at 5.35% p.a. Business lending rates also remain unchanged.

Bankwest rates are under constant review to balance increased funding costs, increased capital costs and regulatory requirements with the needs of borrowers and depositors, in order to remain competitive and offer innovative products and great service nationwide.

Bankwest continues to offer competitive interest rates across fixed and variable home loan products.
