Bankwest Rates Update

media releases

04 February 2015

Following yesterday’s RBA announcement, we’re making banking easier for our customers by reducing our home loan standard variable rate (SVR) by 0.25%.
Bankwest’s home loan SVR will move to 5.64% p.a. from 24 February 2015. This means that customers with Bankwest variable home loan rates can expect to pay 0.25% less.

We’re also reducing rates on our fixed term home loans by up to 0.40% and all new fixed home loan rates will be effective from 10 February 2015.

Our headline three year fixed rate home loan, within our Complete Home Loan Package, will come down by 0.35% to 4.29% p.a.
Our two year fixed rate reduces by 0.20% to 4.39% p.a.
Our four year fixed rate reduces by 0.40% to 4.59% p.a.
Our five year fixed rate reduces by 0.30% to 4.64% p.a.

We always aim to offer low rate options to customers and these reductions leave our rates very competitively placed.
