Bankwest launches WA4EVER campaign
14 January 2011
Bankwest is launching a new multi-media campaign in Western Australia on Sunday January 16 - the most significant by the bank in WA in recent years.
Two new television commercials (TVCs) with a common 'WA4EVER' theme will air on Channels Seven, Nine, Ten and SBS as well as digital and pay TV. Additionally, there will be multiple advertisements appearing in West Australian newspapers, radio, digital media, outdoor advertising and in Bankwest branches.
The first TVC reminds viewers of Bankwest's West Australian heritage, its ongoing commitment to the state and its dedication to the community - including its sponsorship of Super 15 rugby team, the Western Force.
The second TVC focuses on the rejuvenation of the bank's 100-plus branches and agencies across Western Australia. All are set to undergo a major facelift.
Bankwest Head of Retail Marketing Paul Vivian said the campaign is shot in Western Australia and is designed to reinforce the bank's commitment to the state.
"The theme WA4EVER says it all really," explained Mr Vivian. "Bankwest has a long and proud heritage in Western Australia and the campaign is about reaffirming our long-term commitment to WA."
"It highlights the diverse range of community, arts and sporting interests we support but also talks about the fact that we're updating and modernising all of our WA stores.'
In addition to this campaign, which features in Western Australia only, Bankwest is also launching a national campaign featuring further TVCs which highlight some of the service benefits of banking with Bankwest including Australia's biggest ATM network and Australian-based call centres. The campaign continues in the long running 'Happy Banking' theme.
