Bankwest is proud to have received various awards in recent weeks for accounts, mortgages and credit cards spanning its Retail and Business Banking divisions.

Bankwest has been recognised in Money magazine’s 2015 Best of the Best awards, winning:

  • Cheapest Business Transaction Account - Bank for Bankwest’s Business Zero Transaction Account, and;
  • Best Reverse Mortgage for the Seniors Equity Release.

These prestigious awards are now in their 14th year and it’s the fifth time that Bankwest has won the Award for the Cheapest Business Transaction Account - Bank.

Money magazine found Bankwest’s Business Zero Transaction Account “indisputably the low-cost alternative for businesses that make a lot of monthly transactions”, applauding the account for low fees that don’t rely on a minimum account balance.

Bankwest also has been awarded in the new Australian Business Traveller Best Credit Cards for 2014, receiving:

  • Australia’s Best Gold Credit Card Award for the Bankwest Qantas Gold MasterCard, and;
  • Runner Up for Australia’s Best Credit Card for International Travellers for the Bankwest Qantas Platinum MasterCard.

The new awards by independent website Australian Business Traveller rate Australia’s credit cards based on overall value and suitability to its target audience of business travellers and frequent flyers who are looking to earn points.

Bankwest Managing Director Rob De Luca said he was pleased that independent reviewers continued to acknowledge Bankwest for its efforts in fulfilling clients' needs.

“We are committed to our customers and want to make banking easier for them,” Mr De Luca said.

“These awards confirm we’re delivering the best options in these categories, keeping us confident that we’re heading in the right direction.”

Recently, Bankwest was one of just 76 organisations across Australia to be awarded the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality 2014 citation, for demonstrating active commitment to gender equality in the workplace.
