Wooling around in Wagin, WA

29 February 2012

Bankwest will be at the Wagin Woolorama on March 9 & 10 so come along and see us! We’ll be hosting our own stall at the Wool Pavilion at the Wagin showgrounds where everybody that visits us is in with a chance to win an LG 106cm Plasma TV!

The Wagin Woolorama has a rich history that began in 1972. It is a diverse agricultural show; home to the WA sheep show which is judged by Australian and international industry experts. There’ll be non-stop entertainment, including fashion parades, music, a side-show alley, inline skating, paintball, a talent quest, several bars and refreshment areas. You can also look forward to what promises to be a highlight on the Saturday afternoon, a thrilling rodeo!

The opening day is Free Kid Friday, so children under 18 will have free entry for the entire day. His Excellency Mr Malcolm McCusker AO CVO QC, Governor of WA will officially open the event, followed by a Woolorama birthday cake - consisting of 400 tasty cupcakes!

All you need to do to be in the running for the Plasma TV is visit the Bankwest stall and enter our competition - very simple!

Last year around 20,000 people visited Woolorama over the two day event, so the organisers are hoping for another great turnout. Don’t forget to visit the Bankwest stall and try your luck for the Plasma TV... see you there!
