Educating WA kids with happy school tours
04 May 2011
We love being involved in our WA community and getting up close and personal with our customers – it’s a top priority for us at Bankwest. So, with this in mind, we thought it’d make sense to start with our future; our treasured West Aussie kids.
We’ve launched Happy School Tours – an education piece for WA schools to introduce them to their local bank. The Bankwest Tower is an iconic location in Perth CBD, as well as being an historical Perth building, so we’re inviting kids from Year 1 &2 Junior Primary to visit our Palace Store. They’ll be able to see our colleagues in action and learn something about the history of this protected building.
The kids will also get the chance to discover one of our secret safes before riding up to the top floor of the Bankwest Tower where they’ll enjoy the beautiful views across the Swan River.
Over a juice and some bikkies, the kids will learn why banks actually exist and they’ll get the chance to ask questions and uncover any truths about banking. Plus, our Happiness Experts from the small screen will be on hand to get to know the local kids…looking forward to a fun yet education day for all!
