Hear budget highlights from Antonia Albanese, General Manager of Small Business at Bankwest.

Alan joined Bankwest from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA) in March 1989 as an economic research officer and was appointed economist in September 1990 - just in time to grapple with the recession Paul Keating said we had to have. His role is to advise Bankwest and its clients on the implications of economic and financial market trends.

Alan has a degree in financial management and economics from Curtin University and has a graduate diploma in applied corporate finance and investment from Finsia, where he is also a senior fellow. He is also a professional member of the WA branch of the Economic Society of Australia, a member of the housing industry forecasting group (HIFG) and a member of the advisory board of the School of Economics and Finance at Curtin University.
