Logging on for the first time

To log onto BOB for the first time, you will need to have your Personal Access Number (PAN) and secure code (online banking password) ready! Once you’ve got these the login process is quick and easy!

  • Where can I find my PAN?

Your PAN can be located on your initial welcome letter, standard debit card, eStatements or paper statement.

If you can’t locate your PAN, don’t worry. Just call us on 1300 440 749 and we can mail it out to you or pop in to your local Bankwest store and we can issue your PAN on the spot.

  • What if I’ve forgotten my secure code?

We’re here to help. Call us on 1300 440 749 and we’ll issue a temporary secure code over the phone.

Get started in 5 easy steps:

  1. select Online Banking – Personal from the ‘log on to’ drop down menu at the top of each content page or the Log On box in the top right of every main page
  2. once the logon page has loaded, please enter in your personal access number and secure code (online banking password) into the relevant fields and click login
  3. when prompted, create a new secure code between 8-16 characters using a mixture of numbers and letters , confirm the secure code by retyping it and then click save
  4. you’ll then be prompted to upgrade your security. All you need to do is setup some secret questions and confirm your mobile number for SMS code (we’ll tell you more about these features along the way)
  5. congratulations! You have successfully logged on and your account balances will now be displayed
