Adding new users to your account

OBB enables you to choose which users can access your accounts and the level of access they can have. For example, you may want to give limited access to a bookkeeper, accountant or finance clerk.

Master user

A Master user is a person who is authorised by the Account Holder as a signatory of a Nominated Account, and is authorised to create and authorise payments and Direct Debits, and create administrator users and employee users.

To add a new Master user to your OBB account you will need to complete the Online Business Banking Application & Amendment Form (PDF, 313KB) and send it to us via fax, post or email:

Fax: 1300 886 636
Email: obbsupport@bankwest.com.au

A Master user can create, modify and remove users by selecting 'User List' under the 'User Maintenance' menu.

Master users can reset a password by selecting 'Reset Password' under the 'User Maintenance' menu.

Administrator an employee users can change their password by selecting 'Change Password' under the 'User Maintenance' menu.
