Corporate Volunteer of the Year

Volunteering WA

Volunteering WA recognises Bankwest as an employer who leads and excels in a best practice corporate volunteering program to benefit the Western Australian community.

“The tireless volunteering efforts of many of Bankwest’s employees in assisting community organisations through the far reaching corporate volunteering program established and run by Bankwest represents an outstanding contribution to our community. It also presents a wonderful example of a successful program that is facilitating and inspiring others to volunteer for the benefit of their communities.”

“The extraordinary and significant voluntary contribution of the Bankwest Corporate Volunteering Program has helped to make our community stronger, more vibrant and more compassionate. On behalf of the Western Australian community, I thank you for the important work that you do and the invaluable efforts of the volunteers from your organisation.

Without people like yourself and your colleagues who generously volunteer, there would be no ‘community’ in the true sense of the word.”
Hon Tony Simpson MLA
Minister for Local Government; Community Services; Seniors and Volunteering; Youth
