BankWest Online Banking

23 May 2007

Important Message for Customers

Hoax emails have recently been circulated targeting BankWest customers. The email leads customers to click on a link which redirects them to a fake site. The fake website is then used to capture customer's Internet Banking details.

Always ensure that you logon to BankWest's Internet banking by typing "www.bankwest.com.au" into the address bar.

If you receive an email, simply disregard and delete. If you feel your logon details have been compromised, contact BankWest on 13 17 18 immediately.

Please visit http://www.bankwest.com.au/Personal/Online_Banking/Security/How_To_Protect_Yourself/index.aspx for further information.
