Fresh Relationship Manager for Dalwallinu

BankWest has appointed experienced rural and regional banker, Gavin de Gruchy as Relationship Manager for Dalwallinu
Experienced rural and regional banker, Gavin de Gruchy has been appointed to the position of BankWest Relationship Manager for Dalwallinu and surrounding regions.
Gavin has more than thirteen years service at BankWest in banking and agribusiness.
He grew up in Kondinin and also has extensive experience in rural and regional banking working recently in Margaret River and Geraldton.
BankWest, previously known as the Rural and Industries Bank of Western Australia, opened its first branch in Dalwallinu in 1946.
BankWest Rural and Regional State Manager Jim Watson said Dalwallinu was considered one of the major farming areas in Western Australia and has always been an important region for the bank.
"We've seen immense change in Dalwallinu over the last sixty years - not just in terms of banking, but also in the way the town has grown to be a significant farming region in rural Western Australia," he said.
"BankWest has been in Dalwallinu for more than sixty years and this gives us extraordinary depth in understanding the region and economic conditions."
Gavin will take up the role towards the end of July after completing a holiday around Australia with his wife Sherrie.
Jim Watson said BankWest remained committed to rural and regional Western Australia and had continuing growth plans in the region.
