It is our way of supporting the work of emerging and stablished local artists. This prize is just another way BankWest gives back to our community through the HBOSA Foundation. The BankWest Contemporary Art Prize looks for works that:
- are two-dimensional in any media
- reflect a contemporary approach
- are conceptually refined
- are experimental and innovative
- exhibit technical innovation and excellence
