Following BankWest's announcement of major expansion plans in Western Australia, the opening of the new BankWest Baldivis branch on 2nd July 2007 hails the beginning of the bank's growth.
As part of the official opening on 6th July BankWest is putting on a free sausage sizzle starting at 12.00 noon for the local community located outside the branch near the main entrance.
BankWest Retail Executive Ian Corfield said the opening of the Baldivis store and an additional 14 new branches planned demonstrated the bank's commitment to its home state.
"Our expanded branch network will enable us to reach even more customers, especially those in some of the newer suburbs like Baldivis," Mr Corfield said.
"We want our customers to feel welcome when they visit us in a branch and the new branches will be more accessible than traditional branches."
The new Baldivis branch will have an expanded customer area and full bank service capabilities.
In addition to the sausage sizzle on 6th July BankWest is offering free financial health checks to anyone who visits their new retail store in Baldivis from 2nd July and has a number of exclusive one-time offers available including no application fee on personal loans and home loans, and 10,000 free bonus reward points with a BankWest More MasterCard (upon approval).
Baldivis BankWest Retail Manager Mark Ligtermoet will be available to speak with customers and answer any financial questions.
"We are a community focussed bank and we'd love to meet members of the community and encourage everyone to join us at the sausage sizzle," Mark Ligtermoet said.
The BankWest Baldivis branch is located at Shop 13, Stockland Baldivis Shopping Centre, Safety Bay Road, Baldivis.
