There will be plenty to keep seniors active during BankWest Seniors Week - but amid the hectic schedule of exciting events there still has to be time for a nice cup of tea.
This year, seniors will once again have the chance to take a welcome break and enjoy a cuppa, a biscuit and the magnificent view from level 46 of the BankWest Tower.
"For some years now, thousands of seniors have taken the opportunity to come up to the BankWest Tower and take in the stunning view, and we warmly welcome them to do so again," said Chris Whitehead, BankWest's Retail Chief Executive.
"We will be holding a series of informative daily presentations on important financial topics such as deposit accounts, mortgages and financial planning," Mr Whitehead said.
"The sessions will provide seniors with valuable information, in a relaxed environment, on how to get the most from their retirement savings or superannuation."
BankWest Tea in the Tower will be held daily from 10am-3pm from Monday 23 October to Friday 27 October.
The daily presentations will be as follows:
12pm - Deposit Accounts
12.30pm - Mortgages
1.15pm - Financial Planning
In recognition of seniors as valued members of our community, Transperth will once again sponsor FREE travel to all seniors during BankWest Seniors Week.
If you are a senior you can ride as often as you like to wherever you like for free, on all public transport services managed by Transperth during BankWest Seniors Week.
That's all Transperth bus, train and ferry services in the Perth metropolitan area, and all regional town bus services in Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Busselton, Carnarvon, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Port Hedland.
